  • No. Que Viva Los Survivors is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, and donations are not tax-deductible. Contributions directly support survivor-led advocacy, public education, and policy reform.

  • Donations support survivor-led advocacy efforts, including direct legislative engagement, policy development, public education, grassroots organizing, and the infrastructure needed to ensure survivors are present in the rooms where decisions are made. This includes sustaining on-the-ground advocacy and professional support, such as lobbying and communications.

  • Effective advocacy requires consistent presence, access, and coordination. Much of this work has been self-funded to date, but continued momentum depends on having the resources to maintain access to lawmakers, engage across branches of government, and ensure survivor voices are not sidelined.

  • No. Que Viva Los Survivors engages in nonpartisan advocacy focused on issues, not candidates. Our work centers survivor-led policy reform and social welfare, regardless of political affiliation.
